Pressure Pad

If you provide care for a dementia sufferer or a child with autism you may already be dealing with night behavioral changes such as wandering. The CareLink Pressure Pad is designed to help you by notifying you when the pad is stepped on. It will alert caregivers in the home with a pleasant sounding chime, which can be plugged into an AC outlet anywhere in the home.

The CareLink also supervises the Pad. Our CareLink Center responds to pad activation via a two-way voice connection. They can then contact other responders to help you locate or return the wanderer to bed.

Sparrow2

If you use a help button service like CareLink and have already switched to a digital phone service, also known as Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), you may have unknowingly compromised your safety. These services are designed for use on analog or Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS). When used on a digital phone system, help button services do not provide the full-range of features they were designed with. You may lose the two-way voice capability or you may not connect with the receiving station at all.
 
The best solution is to switch back to an analog POTS phone service. That way you receive the consistent, reliable service that CareLink was designed with. But if you prefer to continue to use a digital VOIP service, there is good news for you. The Sparrow2 adapter will allow your CareLink service to fully function on your VOIP system. 
 
Sparrow 2 is easy to set up with complete instructions in the package.
IMPORTANT: Sparrow2 connects through a broadband Hi-Speed internet connection which is not included with this product. You can purchase broadband internet from your VOIP phone provider.

Line Grabber

When CareLink is installed correctly, it will disconnect any phone that is plugged into its Optional Phone jack. Other phones in the home will not be affected by CareLink and could block CareLink from making an outbound call if left off the hook. If you are concerned because your loved one may not always hang up the phone correctly, than you need The LineGrabber™.

LineGrabber™ takes control of all house phones without any complex wiring to the network interface jack. The LineGrabber™ works with any single-line, analog phone and prevents the alarm signal from being blocked by other phones left off the hook. LineGrabber™ is easy to install in a few minutes by non-technical personnel.

Purchase enough LineGrabber™ devices for each occupied phone jack in the home. You simply plug LineGrabber™ in between the phone, fax or computer and the phone jack. You do not need a LineGrabber™ for the phone jack that CareLink is plugged into.

LineGrabber™ works with rotary and tone-dialing phones and is compatible with Caller ID, Call Waiting and DSL services but not digital phone services.
